What types of artwork can be submitted for the Dynamic Art Award (DAA)?
Participants may submit original works in one or more of the following categories: - Digital Art (2D digital illustrations or designs) - Drawing & Painting (handmade artworks on paper or canvas) - Photography (up to 8 original photos) - Video (short original videos up to 3 minutes) AI-generated works are not eligible. AI-assisted tools may be used in Digital Art but must be clearly declared.
What are the specific guidelines for each category?
- Digital Art: Submit a high-resolution 2D image in .JPG or .PNG, indicate software used. - Drawing & Painting: Submit a scanned or photographed version of your hand-created work, no digital alteration allowed. - Photography: Submit up to 8 photographs; basic edits like cropping or lighting adjustments are allowed. - Video: Submit a file up to 3 minutes in .mp4, .mov, .avi, or similar format (max 200MB). All entries must include a title and a short description (100–150 words) about the work.
Who is eligible to participate in the DAA?
The competition is open to students globally, grouped into three divisions: - Junior Division: Grades 6–8 - Senior Division: Grades 9–12 - University Division: Undergraduate students Participants under 18 must submit a consent form signed by a legal guardian. Only individual entries are accepted.
What do winners of the DAA receive?
Award recipients will receive: - Gold, Silver, or Bronze Certificates (Top 1%, 5%, and 10% respectively) - Opportunities for online and offline exhibition - Global media exposure and recognition - Invitations to join the DAA Creative Network of young artists
How do I submit my work for the DAA?
To enter: - Complete the online application form on the official DAA website - Upload your artwork in the correct format for your category - Provide all required information including your contact details, title, description, and a short artist motivation - Pay the $20 submission fee per entry - All entries must be submitted no later than the deadline.
